Now that all of the exitement with the new summer codes has died down, I need something else to watch out for. I have six days before I have to make my first PS but I'm having a hard time with my itinerary since August hours aren't out yet. Any ideas when they should be out? I'm hoping for mid may but I think that's wishful thinking; more like end of May! Post any new info here.:D

I'll watch with you. I think we all need something to pass the time. We wait for the terrific rates to come out...then we wait for the 90 day mark for PS's.....then we wait to get into single digits....it's always something. I can start my PS this week-end also!! Let's watch and wait for those hours....

Can I join you? :D Let's pass the time pretending we already know. I want a PS for the California Grill at fireworks time....and I want a Castleview table!! (I'm much more polite about how I word this with CMs!)

While your waiting for park hours lets see your itinerary with your ps list.

Oh my goodness, I feel like when I was in school and had to do an oral report! Ok, here's what I have so far:

8/14/04-Arrive at the Beach Club at about 7:30 a.m. Walk around the hotel then head to Epcot at 9:00 or so. Come back in the afternoon, swim/rest. Dinner at Cape May Cafe. Either return to Epcot for Illuminations or go to Downtown Disney/Disney Quest.

8/15/04-EMH at Magic Kingdom, back to resort for lunch at Beaches & Cream, swim/rest. MGM for Fantasmic! dinner pkg. at Hollywood & Vine.

8/16/04-MGM in the morning, lunch at Sci Fi Dine In. Not sure about dinner and evening.

8/17/04-Blizzard Beach in the morning. Not sure about dinner and evening.

8/18/04-Not sure what to do in the morning. Maybe a character breakfast. Evening will be dinner at 'Ohana and Magic Kingdom thereafter.

8/19/04-Typhoon Lagoon. Again, not sure what to do in the evening.

8/20/04-EMH at Animal Kingdom, dinner at Boma. Not sure about evening.

8/21/04-Still open

8/22/04-Still open

I still need to plug in PS at Fresh for breakfast, breakfast at Chef Mickey, dinner at Whispering Canyon and maybe breakfast at Kona Cafe.

The following is the easy part since I'm not worried about PS or having to get up early. We'll have FOTL access and priority at most of the City Walk restaurants by showing our room key.

8/23/04-Check out of the Beach Club at about 7:30. Limo transfer to HRH at Universal. Not sure which park yet, probably IOA. We'll be there 3 nights. Again, not worried about priority seatings here. We'll be eating at Hard Rock Cafe, Pastamore and Margaritaville.

Come on August park hours!

I suggest doing DQ one morning. We normally go in the off season and everytime the boys go in the evening they dont have much of a chance to do the games because its crowded, Maybe you can miss some of the crowd by hitting it while they are at the parks. Then maybe you could have lunch at Whispering Canyon and maybe Epcot or one of the other parks for the pm or try to get a Wishes or Illuminations cruise.
Your itinerary looks great. At universal we are eating at HRC, Nascar and Pastamore. Did you see how fast those Luau certs went?? lol

Oh yeah, they went really quick! I would have gotten some of those GCs but they only have the Luau on the weekend. We'll be there Mon.-Wed. I'm sorry I missed the Margaritaville and Hard Rock ones. Oh well. Got some regular priced GCs from the Hotwire website. At least I get a $10 rebate on those.

Thanks for the tip on DQ. You're right, I think maybe doing that while everyone else is at the parks would be better.:D

Just jumping on this thread too. I am on the other Aug hrs thread, but just thought that I'd cross my t's and dot my i's. Don't want to miss anything....

Tinkerbell-your itinerary sounds great! It's very busy but, also like you, I am celebrating my birthday over a 3 day trip in August and have to squeeze :crowded: in as much as possible! Have fun!!

Happy Birthday too!:cake:

We'll be staying 2 nights at AKL, July 30-Aug. 1. Then it's a week at Marriotts Grand Vista and a week at Vistana. I made a PS for Boma for Sat. night.

During our week at Grand Vista, we'll be doing the HDDR, Typhoon Lagoon, Sea World and KSC.

During our second week, I am trying to decide where to eat on Sunday (the day we change resorts). Maybe somewhere in Orlando? Monday we're at MGM and have a PS at Sci Fi Diner. I'm tying to decide about the Fantasmic dinner package.

Tuesday the plan is to be at EPCOT, with a PS for the Ice Cream Social and Rose and Crown (hopefully for Illuminations)

Wednesday is our "off" day, the play at the pool day, and dinner at Whispering canyon.

Thursday is at Animal Kingdom, I plan to buy the vouchers that are sold there. Then, dinner at somewhere fast and easy, like Steak and Shake, so we can have an early night.

Friday is MK. I hope to have a Cinderellas castle PS for dd and I, then dinner at Ohana and be able to see the fireworks.

My big problem is what time to make my PS for Ohana? I don't know whether the park will close at 9 or 10, and if that makes a difference for Wishes.

Thanks DeweyGirl! :bday: too! I don't know if I'll get to everything, but I can hope! I'm going to Epcot on Friday so I should be able to go on M:S! So I don't have to worry too much about it in August!

Still can't wait til the hours come out! Hopefully they'll have either EMH's or EE or E-ride nights...

Tink

Ooooo..... I want to know too!!!!:wave2:

For all you bored August people! Plan my trip! I am going solo with my 5.5 year old daughter. Last year we did the land and sea and had a blast.

We are arriving on Aug 23 and leave the following Monday.

She LLLOOOOVVVVEEESSSS Tarzan. In fact, we are working on a Tarzan bedroom. So more than one visit to AK may be necessary!

We're staying at PC.

Plan it for me!!!
