Never thought to ask, how does Rad shuttle work after?

disembarktion that is? Is everyone making a mad dash to be on the shuttles and get back to their vehicles?

Our experience this past Jan. with the Radisson shuttle going BACK to the hotel was horrible. Going TO the port was GREAT, we were signed up and waiting out front and got to go even earlier than we signed up for, no problems at all. Coming BACK was another story. There seems to be no rhyme or reason where the shuttle stops each time one comes. We saw a Radisson shuttle when we were getting off the ship, and a lot of people were standing by it so we just joined in. Not all could get on that one of course, so we waited patiently for the next one. About 20 minutes later another shuttle came, but parked in a different spot and people just getting off the ship were able to get on that one!! One of the women in our "group" that had been waiting walked over to talk to the driver about it and he just shrugged his shoulders. We would have had to wait another 20 minutes for the next one, but a TraveLynx bus was there and the driver said he would take everyone back to the Radisson for $3 a person so we took him up on his offer.

So I give a "thumbs up" for the shuttle TO the port, but a
"thumbs down" for going BACK to the Radisson!!

Anyone else care to chime in? I do not want to be waiting on a shuttle back to the radisson for an hour just to get back to my vehicle.

Does anyone know if things have changed since Chattys visit?

Okay, we just returned last week...

And, I have the lowdown on the Radisson shuttle....

DCL has a large permanent Tent-cover set up outside of the Port for those who are waiting for their transportation.... ( Is this a recent improvement???) This cover is sectioned off with signs in place for pick up from Radisson, Avis, etc.... It was great! We only had to wait a few minutes before the clean, comfortable, air-conditioned white Radisson van pulled up. They even load your luggage for you.
