never made reservations before, help...

On Thurs, I am going to go online and make our first ever ADRs for our first ever trip
I have about 8 to make. But...We are doing the Luau and Hoop de doo and I know those require full pymt so do I do those online at the same time as the others or what? Not really sure if I should do all the others first before they get snagged up and do these 2 last since I'm sure it will take more time dealing w/ credit card and such. Or...do I go online now and open and "account" w/ credit card info and save it on there or anything?

When are you going? truthfully Cinderellas royat table & le cellier are pretty much the only 2 places I felt that you had to have your finger on the button down to the last minute.

I don't save my credit card information any where on line so I'm not going to encourage you to do that. I would do the non credit card ones first simply because they are quicker.

Seriously I thin unless you're going during high holidays or want Le Cellier & Cindy's I think you'll be fine simply waking up Thursday and putting in your adr's while drinking a coffee.

Looks like you might be targeting mid-November, more than a full week before Thanksgiving. As mentioned above, there are very few reservations that require you to set your alarm clock, especially during that week. Luau and HDD are not in that category. One week later and I would camp by the phone with 2 alarms set for 5:45. If it makes you more comfortable, you can call at 7:00 a.m. ET and handle the "paid in full" reservations over the phone. They will not sell out between 6:00 a.m. (when the internet reservation system goes live) and 7:00 a.m..

So if you have reservations that require you to beat the herd, make those on line first at 6:00, and then, when you are done, you can leisurely make your "paid in full" reservations on line when you have more time to input information. Or, if you don't want to use your CC on line, phone the reservations number at 7:00 or so. If you aren't making any reservations that require urgency (like CRT), then simply do it on line later in the day or over the phone..
