Everyone be carefully lol :)

Stairs are dangerous, i will explain, whilst running up the stairs yesterday i misjudged a step and fell up them :lmao: :lmao:

Whislt doing this i pulled my back and is very sore at the moment, i seem to walk very funny.

Not what i need when ironing needs doing are never mind DH will have to do it! :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Resident Klutz of my family here... and I fall UP stairs WAY more often than I fall DOWN them! Hope your back feels better soon.

Me too - stairs and me don't mix :(

I had to be extra, extra careful when I was pregnant with Lucy and since Lucy was born (carrying her up and down stairs). During those days (and even going up the stairs with Lucy now) I tend to find myself looking at each step and making sure I go up it ok. If I fall it is generally because I am rushing up/down the stairs, carrying things, not looking where I am going and with my mind on 100 different things.

Apparently the stairs are one of the major hazards in the home - we are not the only ones. People frequently break limbs, can break their backs/necks, get head injuries, brain damage and even die through stair related falls :(. Although many affected are the young or the old.

Take care and if your back gets worse or doesn't clear up in the next few days, may be worth seeing someone.

Sorry to hear about your back!
My dh "fell up" the stairs once and jammed his hand/fingers into the stairs somehow. He had to wear a brace/splint thing on his hand for a few weeks and he was embarrassed to tell anyone that he hurt himself walking up stairs!

:rolleyes1

Ouch! Thats gotta hurt! I don't have stairs any more as i was forever falling up and down the flippin things!
Hope you feel better soon:)

when i was younger, my best friend at the time was carrying her 5 day old baby down the stairs when she tripped. Both of them were killed. Stairs can be very dangerous - no joke.

Hope your back gets better soon, I fall up stairs too so it's not just you

Painkillers are working. Should be fine be tomorrow hopefully.

Its good just to relax in the house when everyone is out.

Thanks everyone, at least i'm not the only one

I once fell down them when I was pregnant....I couldn't see my feet  and missed a step and bump, bump, bump I went on my bottom...luckily I was OK but it must of looked funny

Hope your back gets better soon :)

Hope you are feeling better real soon. A few years back I broke my tailbone from falling downstairs - there's something I don't recommend to anyone! Can't sit down, can't lie down, nightmare. I am so clumsy, I definitely sympathise.

Hope you feel better soon. My friend had an accident on the stairs yesterday also. She burst a blood vessel in her finger. It does look painfull. I've also taken a tumble down the the stairs when I was under the influence. Top to bottom I went crashing down. How I didn't break my neck I've no idea, just a fractured nose and two black eyes. That'll teach me for succumbing to the demon drink.
