Never done Fantasmic...How early to get there the 1st week in Sept?

In all the time I have spent in WDW I have never seen Fantasmic. This trip I am making sure to get there. We will be there from Sept 1 - 7. Can anyone tell me how early I need to be there? The show is scheduled to start at 8:30. I think it's open seating - any advice on where we should sit?

If you book an ADR for the Fantasmic meal package you don't have to get there early. We did this at Brown Derby last year and are doing it again in May.

If you don't do the Fantasmic dinner plan, you will need at least 60 mins. early to get decent seats.

It should still be warm in early September -- try to sit center stage in the front rows and enjoy the fountains' mist.
