Never been to Universal!!!!

Hi,

Me, my mum and my younger broher are leaving for Orlando in 24 days. We already have the 10 day world pass. We've been to Disney 3 times before but never visited Universal Studios. I love all of the white knuckle rides.....my brother likes some of them and my mum wont go on any of them. We were wondering whether it would be worth the money to visit Universal if there is only me who will try everything. What does every1 else think?

I don't really like roller coasters, but I'll ride other things, like Spider Man or MIB...I still love Universal. My dh rides all the coasters while I wait with my dd who is 3. We are going in Sept. this year to do just Universal and taking my two neices, who are 12 and 16. The 12yr old will do anything, the 16 yr old will be waiting around with me! I would give it a shot, it's a lot of fun, even without the white knuckle rides! Hope you have a great trip!

There is plenty to do at Universal if you don't like thrill rides. My friend doesn't go on any coasters and doesn't love water rides, but she really enjoys Universal.

Have to say u should try universal its pretty cool diffrent from disney but I think u will enjoy the diffrence they have some pretty cool shows dont miss Beetlejuice hes great

I do not try many rides, in fact the ride I DID love in
Universal, King Kong, is now gone. I still love to visit Universal
(being in love with Disneyworld, this is a BIG confession) -
I do enjoy the park and the change of pace. We will be visiting
IOA again, I like that park, but ride no rides in that park, but
I believe it is still worth the money. I think the FOTL access
is the best.

OK! I see you are 16 years old. YES go to Universal. )) I LOVE that place! I'm a 15 year old female and LOVE Universal.

And I'd like to recommend one thing to you. Dum da dum! YES! You guessed it! The GHOSTBUSTERS SHOW!! They sometimes have REALLY cute guys and the show is pretty fun! You'll like it, I think. My mom and I do!! We've seen it over a hundred times! LOL!!

As for rides, they are actually quite fun at Universal. I recommend Men in Black: Alien Attack, Back to the Future, and Jimmy Neutron. These are great rides! MIB:AA is my favorite!

There's something for everyone there I believe. It's lots of fun!

Also check out Horror Make-up Show (runs continuously starting at 11:45 AM I believe.) And the Ghostbusters Show should have at LEAST 4 shows. Last time I went they added 1. So I'll give you all 5 showtimes: 11:30 (this is the one they won't have if only 4 shows), 12:45, 2:00, 3:45, and 5:00. I try to go to them all! Hahahahaha!!

Don't expect Disney because it's nothing like it. You'd be dissappointed if you thought this. I personally don't like Disney because it's more "kiddy" and Universal is "cool and grown-up" which you can tell by some of the jokes at certain shows!
