Never been to universal

We are going to be in 2 weeks Orlando a few days. There are no Disney park reservations open- do you need reservations at the water park at universal or the parks?
Thinking maybe doing a water park for a day

Universal does not do reservations for the parks... I think this includes the waterpark, never been. We are going next week with no reservation to the parks, so you should be good to go! Now you'll want to get there as early as you can in the am because they will likely hit capacity esp once VC has opened officially.
