Other reviews of Chefs de France are good. It depends on your group and other factors. It may not be possible for you to get an ADR at Le Cellier but that is where you might try.

I have a back up ADR for Teppan Edo. But I am worried that it will be boring and just like japanese at home. There are 2 of us and we love food and my DBF is quite the eater. Do you personally like Chefs?

Keep it.....Remember dining is SUBJECTIVE in opinion. We happen to love Chefs .Have eaten there every trip for the last 4 years. We have YET to have a bad meal there .We are 2 adults and 1 small child.Service has been great and the food great as well and this is both lunch and dinner

We had dinner at Le Chefs for the first time last month. I thought it was good, not great. Our waiter was very good! We also like Teppan Edo, and thought San Angel Inn was very good.

My favorite Epcot TS is Biergarten. We ate there last year and loved it!

Cheers!

Max

We had a dinner reservation there last April but then at the last minute decided to switch to lunch so we could leave Epcot early and go for dinner at Beaches & Cream. We thought the lunch was delicious! We did the prix fixe menu and got tons of delicious food (grilled ham & cheese or mac n cheese were our family's choices.) The soup (French Onion or lobster bisque) was yummy too! We were so full, we had to skip the burgers at Beaches & Cream that night and head straight for the No Way Jose sundaes! We also ate at Teppan Edo. We liked it but feel like you can get food just as good for a lot cheaper at your local Japanese Steak house....

In recent years, Chefs has become one of my favorites, especially at lunch, though I have had some delicious dinners there as well. I would keep the ADR.

I personally have always had good meals and good service at Chefs. As for Teppan Edo, it's not really traditional Japanese food as much as it is just a Hibachi restaurant. Still though, you can't go wrong there either.

One should never make decisions on restaurants based on reviews by others.

If the menu looks good to you, I'd say try the restaurant.

We have eaten there on two occasions. The food was fairly good, but the service was extremely slow and experienced very bad waiters. In fact, the first time, the waiter was so slow, I had to get the manager to intervene to try to get our ticket so we would not be late to the Candlelight Processional--this was after being there already for 2 1/2 hours! But it was the manager himself was so extremely rude when he suggested that I carry my 81 year old mother piggyback so that we could make the CP on time.

I wrote Disney on this one and got an official apology.

The next time, the waiter made countless errors in our orders, leaving us to wait over 30 minutes after dinner before bringing dessert. I vowed never again for Chefs.

We have been going to Chef's De France for many years. The food has always been good, a few times the service was a little slow, but nothing ridiculous. I agree with the op that if you like the menu go for it! I love the duck and profiteroles.

We skipped eating here in October and I missed it!

My girlfriend and I made a last minute change in ADR's before our trip this past May from GG to Les Chefs. It may have been the suprise of the trip. Her beef tenderloin was better than any steak at Le Cellier and my seafood skewers tasted fresh and very good. We would gladly go back.

If you have a hibachi restaurant back home, I would avoid TE. We find that the food, value and show are all better at the hibachi restaurants near us.

As other posters have said, you really can't make your decisions based on the reviews you read. For every positive review there is a negative review, and that goes for just about anything in life. Maybe the person who writes a bad review was just having a bad day while they were writing it, or had a bad day when they visited the restaurant, which skewed their judgement. You never know the factors that go into someones review. You made the ADR for a reason, something about Les Chefs appealed to you. Stick with your gut and make your own opinion. You never know when you could miss out on the experience of a lifetime just because someone else had a bad day. :thumbsup2

Chefs is good. That is the reason why I will not eat at Teppan Edo. It seriously is just like the hibachi grills at home. Same menu and same show.

We love Chefs. The manager there is great and we always have great service. I say try it. Oh, and Tutto is really good, too.

All a review is is one person's opinion. You need to make your own opinions. So if it looks like you would enjoy it, give it a try.

We ate at Chefs this past December for the first time. And we throughly enjoyed it. This is coming from a party of 14. But like others have said, love of food is subjective.

I had a less than stellar meal there. Bad food quality, and poor service, with those prices = restaurant I won't be returning to.
