Nervous about refund

I read that people were getting their DCL refunds in weird amounts that didn't reflect the way they paid, so I was prepared for that and it's happening. Fine. But I'm nervous that I got several payments four days ago that only amount to 1/5 of what I paid DCL, and still no other refund amounts are pending (I paid in full in only 3 payments, so this shouldn't be complicated). Is this normal? Those of you who were refunded, did the amounts come several days apart? Not eager to call Costco to try to hash this out as I have a lot of unfortunate experience with DCL's PITA accounting department. Do I need to get on the phone, or is the money probably coming, based on your experience? TIA.

Yes, my 14 separate refunds came over the course of 1-2 weeks. It was a pain having to keep checking and adding them up to make sure it was right, but it was. I only made a few payments on the cruise, so the refunds definitely did not reflect the payments I had made.

Our March 2020 cruise was refunded that way, with multiple small and odd amounts. I remember thinking it was probably divvied up by taxes, port fees, actual cruise fare and God knows what other ways DCL could separate their funds. It all added up to what I expected and that's all that mattered to me. I'd give them at least a week especially if calling Costco will mean a long time on hold. Do you have an indivdual TA that you can email? That's all I had to do but she's not with Costco.

All of my various refunds to my citi card came on one day. I used a placeholder on the cruise, and it was paid with my disney visa that had the number changed 3 times due to fraud since paying for the placeholder. It finally hit the credit card a few days later.

Thank you! That info helps me stay calm. I don't mind waiting a week to recheck and then call if needed if there's a chance that I just have to wait a bit. I'm in no rush, just want to make sure I do get all of my money back. Good to know I'm not the only one who isn't getting refunded all on the same day.

Same! Mine came over the course of 3 weeks in very odd amounts but it was all refunded. I expected it to be one big refund or two refunds (as we paid a deposit first and then the entire amount) so I was surprised it was so many smaller payments.

My first small amount came within a week.
Yes, I was refunded about 1/5 of the amount due within a few days of DCL's cancellation. Since then (a week later), I haven't received anything, even though I called in and confirmed that the rest is coming within a few weeks. The refunds I've received so far (7 small payments) don't mirror in any way the three simple payments I had made to DCL to pay for the cruise. It's a messy process, but I'm confident after talking with them that I'll get all of my money back eventually. This experience has left me a bit hesitant about booking with DCL in the future, though. It just shouldn't be this hard to get refunded.

Just curious if you had vacation insurance and did disney refund that as well.

Cancelled my September 21 cruise a little over 2 weeks ago now and not a penny has been received yet 🤔 thinking I might have to give them a call and check if everything’s OK

That was in the group of cancellations 1/27, right? So about 15 days..?
