nervous about camping!

People would not stop to save you if you were broke down in the worst places in the world but if you breakdown or have a problem camping you are automatically inducted in to a secret society of people who will watch your back and take care of there own. Most anyone around you will take care of you! I'm only 251 miles from the fort and I'd come running!

really? That is so good to hear. I guess that is my main worry, having something happen like with the tent while we were there and then what in the world would I do?

We started out as earth dwellers and the camping bug bit us and we upgraded to a Pop-Up and then to a Travel Trailer. But anyhow there is not a whole lot that can go wrong tent camping that duck tape cant fix.Just set up at home and if the tent comes with any instructions about water proofing just follow the instructions.We even dry run with are camper so when we go the kinks are all worked out ahead of time!

Well, I think I know why the hotels are all booked up the days you want. That is the first week of Free Dining and reading another thread on the DIS, apparently, there was a computer glitch that overbooked Pop Century by over 400 rooms, so they are frantically trying to relocate everyone that was overbooked.

oh my! I figured something must have happened. I have decided to just check in with hubby at our resort and not bring the boys down a few days early. (The intense heat we are having right now is the reason) But I am so glad I found this site! I am planning on camping at Ft Wilderness hopefully the end of Oct. The weather should be cooled off some, and I can't wait to see the FT decorated up for Halloween!!!!!

That sounds like a much better plan.
