Nerve Pain

Anybody here with nerve pain care to explain what it feels like? I know they describe it has "burning, tingling, or stabbing", but what do those feel like? Be descriptive! Thanks!

Thousands of pins poking you, like your legs been asleep for 2 hours, like blisters are rubbing against wood.

I can't sleep do to this very thing. It feels like my leg is asleep and once in awhile I get a sudden pain in my big toe. It feels like someone is pushing down at the base of my toenail really, really hard.
