Neptune's Net on PCH?

Driving the coast in September... Seattle to DL and we've included Neptune's Net as one of our lunch stops after seeing it covered on the Food Network. Has anyone been here? Opinions/Comments?

I've never eaten there. Have driven by it several times. A popular hang out for the weekend-Harley riders. I'm sure it's fun & good.

My brother who lives in Malibu, much prefers Malibu Seafood. (& I've eaten there 6-8 times). Amazing quality, amazing prices, & amazing views.

(also check out Jocko's in Nipomo in you're in the neighborhood at meal time. same type of recommended place, but with Portugese Beef)

Thanks Hound 109- I took a look at the website and it looks like a pretty good local place, I'm considering stopping there instead, especially if Neptune's is Harley crazy since we'll be visiting on a Saturday.

Hi Mermaid...when i said Harley place, i meant the wealthy harley wannabes, not a rough crowd. Why don't you stop in both & report back?

If you do stop at Malibu Seafood & you order a sandwich YOU MUST order it with the grilled sourdough.....(local tip)....otherwise you get a boring bun or white bread. Many who go there bring a bottle of wine & order the fish sandwich w/ a side of slaw....with the view of the pacific, life is good.

Have fun & report back, I love the coast between Malibu & Monterey, lots of great stops.

I haven't been to Neptunes Net in years but my family use to love it, we live further away now so its hard to go there (and I don't eat fish anymore) but I have heard many good things.
