A question for those who have been to the park and ridden the new ride.

Is there one side that is "better" than the other? Or are all things out there to see visable from both sides?

Does that make sense?

I mean, I saw pictures where they have the Darla character, but I am assuming there is only one. If you are sitting on the opposite side, can you see her well?

What do you think is the BEST seat to see everything on this ride?

yup... they are same on both sides... i went during the CM preview aka about 10 people per sub pretty much... so we had the chance to compare both sides but both sides are the same...

silence, I just noticed we'll be there at almost the same time! Assuming you're there for more than one day. :)

If you see someone who looks vaguely like my avatar picture, say hi! Especially if that person has a little kid with shorter hair and is two years older than the guy with me in my avatar picture. :)

OK..so just to confirm...

Is there "no" best seat because there is so much to see out both sides? or becuase there is 2 of everything?

I mean, if I sit on the right and Darla is out the left, there is something just as good to see out the right or do I see Darla out there?

I know, picky picky picky...

Yes, we are driving down on Sunday and we will be in the parks from M-F and will drive home on Saturday....unless of course I decide I just HAVE to go into the parks Saturday too.

We were there in May and had the same schedule and we stayed at the PP. We try to get down to the parks a couple of times a year, so this is our "budget" trip so we are staying off site. I'll be there with hubby and DS 9 and DD 4, and my mom who makes all the trips with us. Hubby is a big guy and will most likely be wearing SOMETHING (hat, shirt, shoes) from Chicago Bears or Cubs.

They have everything on each side, so regardless of what side you're on, you see everything. There is a Darla on each side, a scuba diver on each side, etc... Even the mermaid and sea serpent are on each side (these are sort of "hidden" tributes to the old ride). There's more difference on whether you're towards the front of the sub as opposed to the back of the sub than on what side you're on. For some reason I like the port side better (left), but the starboard side is easier to board on.
