Neighbour's son cutting our grass...how much $$ do we pay him?

My neighbour's 15-year-old son is going to cut our grass while we're away on our trip. How much should I pay him? He'll have to do it 2, maybe 3 times.

Legally? The hourly minimum wage of your province of residence, multiplied by the amount of time he spends doing said task .

Really? $50 should do. A little bit more ($10-$20) in the off chance that he's bringing his own mower.

My DD15 cuts our neighbours grass. It's about 1/2 acre and she gets $20 per cut.

Thanks for all the input...I'm thinking we'll give him $40. My husband says he'll have to do it once, twice max. When we asked him if he would do it he instantly said "No problem" and doesn't know we're paying him...nice kid!
