We live in a rural area and the mobile home of some neighbors down the road burned to the ground this morning.
I was lying in bed and heard a small boom sound and my dogs started to bark. Then I heard the fire siren.
It was fully engulfed and burned to the ground in a short time. Luckily no lives were lost. No one was home at the time.
They had a history of running a meth lab. Not sure if they were still doing that.
I can still smell the odor from the smoldering remains. Sort of afraid I could be inhaling chemicals from a meth lab. I wanted to do yard work today, but now I may wait until the smoke clears completely.
