Needs some addonitis feedback

We currently own 170 points at OKW and 100 at VWL for a total of 270. We initially starting thinking we would like to bring our points to 300 by adding 30 at VWL. Then, we started thinking that, well, we could add 70 at VWL and have 170 at each for a total of 340. Called Disney got the prices, called and talked to Pat at the TSS.

Then I looked at the TSS website and saw some good contracts at OKW for 200+ points for not much more than it would cost for the VWL 70 point addon (if we sold our 100 points at VWL to defray some of the cost for OKW). Then we would have even more points!

The price difference between adding 70 at VWL or selling the current 100 at VWL and buying 200+ at OKW is minimal especially on contracts were the points for 2006 are almost gone (which doesn't bother me). By the way, we have only stayed at VWL once in 6 years, we haven't been able to get in.

We like OKW and SSR so if we end up staying there, we are fine with that. We prefer where the car is right outside as opposed to the the Hotel feel of the other resorts anyway.

Hope I'm clear, looking for opinions, feedback, thoughts.

If you like OKW and SSR, you might consider selling your VWL and buy 130 points at SSR through Disney and get your two free annual passes. I also like the fact that you can get to your car much easier at OKW and SSR. We did stay at VWL in January and enjoyed it very much. However, it was harder getting our groceries to the room than it is at SSR or OWK with the parking being a lot closer. I know the SSR points are more expensive, but the two annual passes would sure help if you go more than once a year. If you don't, I think the OKW points would be better for you. Like you said you could get more points and stay even longer or get a bigger room, or take friends. There are alot of pluses to more points. We have 320 at SSR and don't seem to have any trouble using them each year.

SSR has 12 extra years. It would be nice to have a lot of points at OKW for the early booking advantage of grand villas.
