Needing vacation rental for 8 in Destin!

We are planning a family vacation to Destin, Florida and I have been searching for a rental that sleeps 8, on the beach for a reasonable price. Any one have any places they would suggest?

Are you looking for a house or a condo? We have stayed Pelican Beach Resort a few times, and we are staying there again in May. They have the best rates that I have found for a condo on the beach. One building has 1 and 2 bedrooms (which may not be big enough for you), but they also have another building with 3 bedroom condos, but its set off the beach a little, although you don't have to walk across the street to get the the beach.

Also, you might consider Jade East condos. Check out www.vrbo.com if you're looking for a house to rent.

at this point we dont care if it is a condo, house, what ever! I've been all over the net looking, but not sure if I've checked the web site you said, so will check now and thanks for the help! (And yes, I think we need 3 bedrooms!)

Have you thought about going over the bridge and go to Fort Walton Beach . It is more family oriented. I prefer FWB over Destin and if you want to still shop/eat in Destin it is just a short drive over the bridge. FWB is also a lot cheaper!!! Have you thought about 2 condos side by side? I also love vrbo.com. I have used them several times. I just love FWB! I was even married there on the beach!

We rent a house that sleeps 12 every year near Seaside. (near Destin). It's so awesome there!!! We always go thru www.beachrentalsofsouthwalton.com and they have awesome service and their homes are great.
