Needed prayers from our DVC friends *Update* by MIL Post # 244

I'm sorry about the step back... I pray that whatever caused the recent trouble to be identified and proper treatment for improvement again. We are such complicated creatures... than add complicated medicine... I pray that God will give His supernatural wisdom to the entire medical staff on MIL's needs. Bless you!

Sometimes set backs do happen but don't get discouraged. Continued prayers for you all. Take care.

Thank you for letting us know how she is doing. All are still in our prayers, and a "groupie" hug to you and your family.:grouphug:

Not much to report. She is doing about the same. She did recover from the episode Thurs. She is holding her own. Doctor says they may put a trach in once the swelling goes down around her neck.

We continue to appreciate all the support and prayers.

I pray for the complete healing of your MIL. I pray for your family's needs as well... strength, comfort, rest.

Soooooooo many things in this world that I don't understand... like serious illness. But I know He is with you. I pray for Him to continue to make His presence known to you and your family in a mighty way.

In Jesus name I pray!

My thoughts and prayers are with you all. I understand the emotional roller coaster you guys are on because I did the same with my MIL. I will keep you guys in my prayers.:grouphug:

Jimmytammy,
Continued prayers and thoughts......you all are going through so much now. I know first-hand, caring about a very sick relative can be so physically and emotionally draining. I pray for strength from above for you and your family. God bless......

Thanks for the update. I will continue to send prayers your way. Take care.

Sorry folks, meant to post last night:confused3

DMIL had a tracheostomy(sp.)line put in yesterday morning. She is doing fine from the surgery. She slept about all day. The line wont be permanent, but should help her breathe with a little more ease. She will be able to eat and drink on her own. Today, they are gonna try letting her breathe on her own, the tommorrow, let her try breathing day and night on her own.

We never in a million years thought she would still be in the hospital nearly 3 weeks when we 1st took her in. And it looks like it will be several more at this point.

Thanks for the update. Yes I understand about bringing a loved one to the hospital and then they are there for a long time unexpectedly. It's hard.

I will continue sending prayers. Take care.:goodvibes

I'm glad she is doing well after surgery.

I know it has been a long time for her and all of you. The days are so long in a hospital.

I'm sorry your family has been going through such a stressful time -- hang in there, better days are coming! :goodvibes
