Needed prayers from our DVC friends *Update* by MIL Post # 244

Alleluia! You all must be emotionally and physically exhausted by this. But isn't it grand to see some improvement. Praying now...

I believe in the power of prayer and I pray for you and your family.

Praise the Lord for "baby steps"!!!

I pray she'll continue to improve!!!

It will be great to celebrate her joining these boards!

Your posts are a wonderful testimony both of your faith and your devotion to your family. I know your MIL thanks the good Lord for sending her daughter a caring, thoughtful husband. What a blessing!!!

She is at Wesley Long at this moment but getting transferred to Moses Cone within the hour. Me and the kids are heading up to take Tammy to supper then she will go back to make sure her mom gets settled in.

*Update*
She had another good night. Tammy said they bumped her ventilator down another 10%. They took her off some meds, but her heart rate dropped, so they had to readminister that. The nurses are really concerned with the move to the other hospital in hopes nothing goes wrong.

God has blessed us with such wonderful DIS friends.

Stay strong. It sounds like you have a wonderful family. I'll keep praying for you all!!

My prayers are with you, your DW and MIL. I believe in the power of prayer.

TammyJimmy, I will be praying for your mom. I know God will heal her, and she is young , which is a really good thing. Praying also for strength and peace for you - it is hard to be the care giver, too!:flower3:

From another Jim and Tammie :)

Jimmytammy....I just saw this post today. You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers.

MIL got moved to other hospital. It all went well, vitals remained stable. Nurses were really concerned with the move, but she got settled in nicely. DW went back for a few hrs this morning, then her brother came up for the day to spend til this evening. It really helps to give Tammy a break. He drives about 2 hrs. He is in the Air Force, based at Pope AFB.

DW said the doctors are trying get her to respond and she showed some movement with her eyes today, though she couldnt open them. Also, they are giving her small doses of Iron instead of blood transfusions. She is down to 50% on ventilator and still holding her own.

Glad the move went well. I pray that the new doctors and staff will have supernatural wisdom in her treatment. I pray the good Lord will heal her and you'll see her responding soon!

Glad the move went so well-it sounds like she is making progress. I'll keep you all in my prayers!!
