Okay ladies I would love your opinions about peanut butter cups. I thought about a poll but so many people may different mind sets that an answer would not work for a polling. I have ideas for Peanut butter cups. How willing would you be to say order them for different events, such as xmas, new years, birthdays, easter etc..?

Right now I am finding friends who are going to be trying them for me. So if you could give me honest answers I would dearly love to know what you think. If you have questions I will answer as I see them. Thanks for anyone who could respond. Jo

Not sure if it's just because I am tired but I'm a little confused...
I think peanut butter cups are good, but I try to avoid them as they are quite fattening.

Not sure exactly what you're talking about. Do you mean like the Reece's peanut butter cups or something different?

Not so willing. No allergies in this house, but plenty of my kids friends do, actually my DD''s bff who practically lives here is deathly allergic. We have made our house a peanut free zone.

Not sure of the question. I love Reese's PB cups, but I don't usually buy them. I will take them from my kids' candy bags at Halloween or Easter Eggs, or birthday party gift bags. I don't buy a lot of candy.

Yes I am thinking about selling them. It will take alot of experimenting to do this. Thats why I ask if you would be willing to purchase them for different occasions. Everyone has different tastes which I will gladly accept. No they will not be like reeses peanut butter cups. Jo

Well I dont want to give my ideas away, Trying out with some liquor flavors, ( for adults only). Different types of colors. Stuff that would appeal to adults and children as well. Hope this helps you a little.

I love PB cups. I am already starting to make a Christmas cookie and candy list for this year and I found the perfect recipe. Between my siuster's chocolate pretzels and my PB cups we are going to be pretty good on the candies here! I can already feel my waistline growing.

PB cups are pretty popular, I'd think you'd make a decent buck off of them. Especially if they were fancier then just plain PB and chocolate...like you are planning.

that would not be something I would buy. I just don't buy treats that way. They are homemade by me or more of a mass produced product.

what about making the cups in chocolate molds, with different shapes?? That might be better than just cups. And appeal to different occasions.

I have many ideas with this type of things in mind. colors shapes, ways of displays, ingredents and so forth. And of course for people who like traditional cups. I will be having people sample stuff and I will offer them different things around the holidays for free to see how it goes. My mind is running rampant. I started making this about 4 years ago for a friend and it is slowly expanding now i run wild with ideas.
