I am looking for a steal of a deal on some maternity jeans. Must be full length due to my work environment. Has anyone noticed any super deals lately? I mean, it's summer- I'd think they'd be clearanced off by now... Thanks!!

I know that when I was pregnant with both my daughters I didn't find much on clearance, esp. jeans. Try Old Navy if you have one near you. I know that some of the baby/children consignment shops in my area also carry maternity clothes.

When my friend was looking a few months ago she tried Old Navy. Most of what she found were denim capris with large cuffs folded up, we just unfolded the cuff and hemmed them to the correct length.

Just something to consider if you have trouble finding actual jeans.

Also check consignment sales/events like Kid's Closet. I currently have all my maternity clothes in one of those sales. I paid $32.50 for them and am selling them for $10. They are like brand new and a great deal for someone who needs them.

I do second Old Navy. Most of my maternity clothes are from there.

Excellent ideas. Heck, I'll only need them good enough to get through maybe 3 months... I'm already 5-1/2 months along, and have been losing weight instead of gaining. I should be fine in my current jeans for atleast another month! I will have to see what consignment stores we have close to us. Thank You all!!

Can you sew? There used to be some pretty simple instructions for making them in the bookmarks over on the disboutique thread.

I second Target. DD is due in 2 weeks and was previously a size 0. The best fitting maternity clothes we found for her were from Target. Second best, but much higher, was Motherhood Maternity.

When I was preggo, I found some jeans at Kohl's. Kohl's usually has 50% - 60% off maternity clothes on a very regular basis. Unlike the previous post, Target maternity clothes did not work for me. I tried several items at Target and none of them fit me right.

Not sure if you have one in your area but Burlington Coat factory had some Cheap! like $7-10 dollars a pair.:goodvibes

Try ebay!

When I was pregnant with DS2 I bought a lot of maternity jeans and pants in my size for cheap. I ended up with about 7 pairs of GAP maternity pants for $75 with shipping. :thumbsup2

After I had DS I sold them all at a local consignment sale and got about half of that back.

the family from 19 kids and counting shops only at thrift stores. their motto is buy used and save the difference. not sure it works all the time, but, why not have a look. our thrift store gets brand new clearance with tags on it from the talbots store. i have bought a few work skirts and tops for 2.00 each. had them dry cleaned and really enjoyed them :-) .
