Needed - advice for shower

My best friend is getting married at Disney World in June. They live in FL. Moved there a year ago. The shower will be here in PA, where they are both from and where all the family and friends live. It will not be a surprise because they will have to fly here. (Especially since we are all flying there for the wedding).

I am looking for any advice on what I can do at the shower for favors (disney related). Also if any of you have gone through this. How can we word the invitation so that she does not get too many presents as she will have to fly back to FL with them without sounding tacky.

I know this is a little off topic but thought some of you might have some ideas and been through this before.

Hi. I am also from Pa.

I did not go through the same exact thing but i do have some ideas for ya!

My mom made candies with candy molds that looked like cinderella's castle, and cinderella's carriage.

Also, the only other thing regarding the presents is have ppl ship her presents on their own if that is what they want or talk to the bride about shipping them home after. It is a shower for her & her hubby-2-be so i am sure she is fine discussing and helping out in shipping these presents to her home considering she is not in PA anymore.

Other favors could be glass slippers filled with candy or something...Little carriages filled with something. I saw little disney princess stuffed dolls at the local dollar tree and used them for pre-wedding favors and thought they were adorable.

we registered at bed bath & beyond and many ppl shipped stuff right to our house...you can ask ppl on the invitation to have gifts shipped directly to their house, or mention that since they are flying home gift certificates are more practical
