Our first evening in WDW we're going to spend at DTD (see my pre-trip report, I'm desperate for viewers!). The only place I've eaten there is Wolfgang Pucks.

I'd love your recommendation for a DTD table service restaurant. A little detail about why you love it would also be so helpful!

And in case you don't want to read the pre-trip report (link below), it's just two adults, me and my sis.

Thanks!

I like the House of Blues. Been there once before and found the food & the service very good.

Ghiradelli's is an excellent place for dessert (or if you get one of there sundae's, it could be dinner too!).

I would stay away from the Rainforest Cafe. Ate there once and won't go back. Awful food & service.

Stay away from Rainforest & Capt. Jacks.

All the rest are equally good. If you want Italian go to Portobello Yacht, if you want AMAZING seafood & price isn't an issue try Fulton's, etc. They're all good.

I'd avoid Fulton's like the plague (actually, I think the plague might be a little more enjoyable;) ). We like Bongo's Cuban Cafe; good food you won't find in any other WDW place.

I've had mostly good experiences at Fultons (one traumatic experience w/a bad crab claw) but mostly good - great calamari app. unlike others I have ever had. We usually go there now for apps and Mai Tais (of which they make a killer one!)
HOB is always good, for what it is, burgers, ribs, jambalaya, etc
I've only been to Portobello once and enjoyed it. We are stopping in this week when we go (Wed as a matter of fact):thumbsup2
Stay away from RFC unless you have kids that would like the environment. I've eaten there 2 times (only 1 time in Disney, the other in NJ) and it was kind of icky both times.
I can vouch for 2 things at Planet Hollywood, the Captain Crunch chicken tenders and the caesar salad. It gets very poor reviews overall though.
Bongos is okay, I really can't say I loved it; kind of 'generic' Cuban food.
I've been to WPC once, and we enjoyed it but didn't really get any entrees.
I've had apps at Raglan Road 2 times and maybe I just chose the wrong things but we did not care for it either visit. It does get rave reviews on the boards though.
Never been to Cap'n Jacks.

HTH!
