DH and I have one night planned without the kids. They will be going to the Neverland Club. I was thinking about dinner at Jikos, but was also wondering about Citricos and Artists Point. Both of these would be closer to the Poly where we are staying. Convince me which I should choose for our one special adult dinner.:)

I've been to all 3 of these on more than one occasion and out of the 3, JIKO is by far my favorite. Well, since you need convincing.....JIKO has the best ambiance out of the 3. The lights are dim, the dining room is generally all adult, the food here is some of the best on property. I think the best steak at a WDW restaurant is the filet at JIKO. We've always had a quiet relaxing adult experience here. And if you are the least bit adventurous, the appetizers are very very good and unique. We usually get the Taste of Africa flatbread sampler or the assortment sampler of the other appetizers (it's not listed that you can get the sampler but we always so).

Neither Citricos nor Artist Pointe has an upscale decor (Citricos is nicer than AP) and the food, although good, is not as "special" as JIKO.

FYI--On our last trip we stayed at Beach Club and we took a cab to/from JIKO because we knew we were going to share a bottle of wine. The cab was only $12 one way. Not quite as convenient as the monorail from Citricos but not bad either.

Artist Point I loved and is closer but as said Jikos was amasing. Definately nicer decor. I still love Artist for the fantastic Buffalo steak but Jikos had some unique food

See.. you ask for opinions and you get three different ones..

I have been to Jiko's many times, I think it is noisey at best, darkened but noisey and when I went there last time, something was severely off. Not great service and the food came to the table staggered and one entree was lukewarm... I have not been back.

The last time I ate at AP, we had a good meal, service was good. I love the ambiance there and it is a bit more quiet than Jiko's. Although lately I have been reading reviews that are hit or miss..

Finally, my fave of the three you asked is Citrico's, which I reviewed recently.. The service was impeccable....food incredible, and one of the best dining experiences we had had on our whole trip, including pre WDW.. I will never stop recommending it as I have never not had a great meal there and I think when you are making dining reservations if you say that it will be two adults and you would prefer to sit by the windows.....they might try to accommodate.. I would seriously say that this is a special night for the two of you, it is, you are dining without the kids and want some adult time....and request a rather private window table for two.
