Things that could happen.......................


1. Death. By Driving while drunk
Riding with someone who is driving drunk
drinking too much (poisoning)
Gotta' pool? Toss in drowning.
2. If Female - sexual assault, rape, pregnancy, STD's
3. Arrested for any number of laws broken, up to and including
vehicular homicide if you hit & kill someone.

The intangibles - How about the total trashing of one's reputation if involved in any of the above.

Teens think they are indestructible. They are not.

Oh yeah, of the list above, in my work as a Firefighter/Paramedic, I have seen ALL OF THESE.

And trust me, no one involved was the least bit happy afterwards.

Froggy, your story, and others like it, makes me realize how foolish I was in my younger days. I haven't drank in a long time (or at least not while I'm driving) but I used to go out to the bars and drive home after drinking (and not just a few) and think if I rolled the window dowm the cold air would sobber me up. When I think of what I could have done to myself or others it makes me thank god that nothing happened. My kids are so anti- drinking/smoking that I just hope they continue to be that way.

I agree that Froggy's is a sobering (pun intended) message for us all. Drinking and driving is a huge no-no whether you're 18 or 88.
