Sorry, I don't have the time right now to go into the story. Please list all the possible bad things that could happen at an underage party WITH alcohol. Make it short and simple, I need to remember them. Thanks for all your help!!! It is greatly appreciated!!!!!!

Two quick ones that came to mind are drinking and driving and alcohol poisoning. Both can kill and change many, many lives. :(

Hmmmmmmmmm, let's see. Death, followed by the many lawsuits that will surely come because of it. There are a few more, but that should be enough to frighten you.

Um....death, injury, alcohol poisoning (death), law suits, police involvement (arrests), sexual activity...

jail, criminal record, injury from drinking and driving, alcohol poisoning, death from binge drinking.

I don't know about other locations but in Connecticut it could mean the arrest of the home owners for allowing the underage drinking in the first place,

Death from alcohol poisoning.
Death from DWIs
Hosts can be sued and lose everything if they serve alcohol to someone in their home who later kills someone in a DWI. (under age or not)

Teenagers and alcohol.......SEX!!! All of the other horrible things come to mind but SEX was the predominate factor at my teenage parties.

Becoming a vegetable. Scarier than death to me is being alive but not being able to live on my own....Serious injuries, such as paralysis than can result from wrecks, killing someone ELSE in a drunk driving accident, being raped, not being in control

not as serious as the others, but may make a deper impression -- pulbic humiliation.

People who don't have their grandmother because of someone drinking and driving.

Also it is against the law and people who like to be considered something more than just an animal who acts on impulse should strive to be a law abiding citizen or we might as well wallow in the mud with the pigs.

I agree. Teens may like to think they're invincible and won't be the ones who end up in the hospital. Most everyone fears doing something stupid that everyone else remembers that they don't! That fear may seem more tangible to them.

all of the above, and a great big hug. Teen parties are a huge issue in our house right now. Last night I had to make a tough decision regarding one of my son's friends.

Thanks for the hug. The situation doesn't involve a party at my house, I would NEVER allow that!!! It involves a Halloween party last night. My step DD, who is 18, arrived to it late because she had to work. She did not drink. My DD and a few of her friends left shortly after because of fights starting up. When they arrived at her boyfriends house, a car drove slowly by and then shot at them with a sawed off shotgun. Apparently, one of the boys with my DD tried to break up a fight at the party and someone didn't like it. Tonight we are going to DD's boyfriends house to find out what happened after the police arrived.

I know I origionally said I didn't want to get into the story right now, but maybe it is easier for people to give advise if they know the situation. I don't want anyone to think that I allow teenage drinking parties at my house. NO WAY!!! I don't agree with underage drinking AT ALL!!!

I just figured you were trying to convince her not to go to one. Good luck with that situation...Drinking makes people stupid when done in excess, especially when hormones get involved.

this can happen.. this is me after the drunk girl ran the stop sign, and after 17 surgerys as well.. i refuise to post the er pics . not safe for young kids or the elderly,, or anyone with a heart condition.

Froggy, your story, and others like it, makes me realize how foolish I was in my younger days. I haven't drank in a long time (or at least not while I'm driving) but I used to go out to the bars and drive home after drinking (and not just a few) and think if I rolled the window dowm the cold air would sobber me up. When I think of what I could have done to myself or others it makes me thank god that nothing happened. My kids are so anti- drinking/smoking that I just hope they continue to be that way.
