Need your help team: re AP renewal - thanks for the help

Was on the phone with DW in Florida last night, and it turns out she wants to go to WDW and possibly VB again this year - LOL

DS#1 and my AP's expire May 13/2004

We plan to arrive May 14/2004 or May 15/2004 - we could not bring the trip closer due to vacation schedules at my new workplace

I am a touch confused as to the procedure for renewals. I know they will be a value for us since over 12 mos starting May we plan to stay >8 days

Jay, just call and renew your AP over the phone. You will save some over a first time purchase versus renewal. WDW will mail you renewal vouchers which you can turn in at guest services at the first park you visit or at DTD or I've read at the Disney store at MCO. We've not exchanged at the airport ourselves.

I was at Disney the day after mine expired last year. I just went to a ticket window and got the renewal rate.

Just send in the renewal form when you receive it in the mail....they'll send you a voucher which you activate at a guest services window at any of the parks. Your new AP will expire one year from May 13/2004, not one year from the day you are activating it. In your case, one or two days really doesn't matter. Make sure you bring your old pass just in case they ask for it. You will also need some form of ID.

You should receive renewal forms in the mail soon. The renewal rate for APs is $350.39 (vs. $392.99 new) and for PAPs it's $467.54 (vs. $520.79). The child's passes are $298.20 and $397.25.

Since you are visiting right after the expiration, the renewal pass will work out well for you. If you don't receive your renewal notices, or don't want to wait, you can renew them by calling (407)560-PASS.

Just a little warning. We don't always get renewal notices.

I believe you have a grace period of 30 days past your expiration date to get the renewal rate. Of course, this is "subject to change."
