ITA about enriching experiences for kids. Can I count Epcot as our international travel?

Only until the kids are old enough to read.

We were all about Disney and other amusement destinations when the kids were small. I'll freely admit to a rather crazy Disney phase starting with the birth of my youngest and lasting until around her 5th birthday. Now that she's older, though, we're all chomping at the bit to do some "real" traveling. Europe probably won't make it into the budget for another year or two, but this year we're doing everything from major cities & museums to kayaking, hiking, & rafting state parks in three different states.

I'm fortunate to have a BFF in Philly (we just came back from there this weekend) and a brother in Boston. So we can tour those cities without the cost of lodging and eating out. This weekend we saw the Barnes Collection and the Constitution Center. Both were wonderful. And we only scratched the surface of things to do there. It also made me realize how little we tour our own city.
