When we went on the land/sea last year we used your ride for us and my inlaws. It was very good service and reasonable but I have heard they changed owners and so now I would like some advice on who to use that is "reasonable." We are flying in on Wed April 28th before the cruise and staying at POR for the 3 days, then going to the port and then back to the airport. What are some reliable car services that can take me, dh and 3 kids???

Anyone have any options??? I've tried looking at Tiffany Towncar but they show a 4 adult max and we have 3 kids and 2 adults. I also looked at Happy Limo but have no idea what to do.

Has anyone been in this situation and have any ideas?

Thanks in advance,
Heidi

Thanks! I'll check them out!:)

Anyone else?

We used a towncar with Tiffany for our transportation last month. The car will seat 5 people very comfortably along with a driver. We had 3 adults and 2 small children. The driver, one child and one adult sat in front. 2 adults and one child in the back. The trunk is large and held 2 large and 3 smaller bags along with several backpacks. We had the same driver, Sammy, throughout. He was courteous and prompt and patient with the children when they were extra rambuncious while waiting for the luggage after our long flight into Orlando. :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc

We used Tiffany but since we asked for 2 booster seats for our small kids - they gave us a minivan...for $5 more than the towncar. I'm surprised they would allow a small child to ride up front...especially without a safety seat.

I think I might have found my solution and for the 3 rides it is only $60.00 total and that includes a LIMO to the port!!! I am still making sure that is the price of $300.00 total plus tip but if it is we are going to go for it. I dont know how much transfers are with Disney but I would assume they are pretty close to that price.

Anyway thanks again and if anyone else has any ideas let me know.

We used Your Ride for our Dec 13th cruise and they were great. We had used them the previous February and also heard about them changing hands, but took a chance and glad we did. The transfer of ownership was internal. Two people who already worked there, bought the business. In fact, we had the same driver in February to the resorts and one way from the cruise in December. I would still highly recommend them, even after the changes.

I guess I didn't explain myself clearly enough. The child is almost 8 and didn't need a child seat. There were center seat belts for her in the front. :earsgirl:

I was going to mention limo service.. we're a family of 5 and we'll be using limo ride for the same thing- WDW resort then cruise then airport. :) It really is cheaper than DCL transfers X 5 people. :)

We just used Tiffany for the third time and they were great, it was 170 round trip, and that did not include the tip. This was for a 10 passenger van, too and from the airport, I think from the hotels its 195.00, but I could be wrong, if you won't fit in a towncar, just call for stretch rates. DCL wants 50.00 pp round trip for the transfers, but I was told by a friend that used them that it was worth it, they had a blast on the bus, watching movies and seeing info about the ship. For a difference of 55.00, I'd probably do the DCL bus.
