Need touring tips - alone with infant

Hi,
We will be at WDW starting at the end of president's week (2/24) for 1 week. DH has a convention everyday from 9-5 so we won't see him for most park touring. I will have DD (10 mos.) and be alone with her most of the time she's awake. We've never travelled with her before. Please give me your best tips for touring the parks alone with an almost walking infant. We plan to get an early start in the mornings and come back to the Dolphin for the afternoons. Some evenings we may return for fireworks or parades.
Am I crazy to do this? I don't plan to try to do very much, just go with the flow and see things from her level. Shows, streetmosphere, characters, playgrounds and the occasional ride when I think she can handle it. Don't want to overwhelm her.

Boy, that sounds like a great trip to me! I have a 4 yr old and a 10 mo. old, and the little guy is WAY easier to travel with - no opinions, happy to sit in the stroller and watch, etc. Its basically go and see what you want to. The baby should be easy so long as you stock up on snacks and food. Try to get those big colored rings that fit together and attach things to your stroller. I use them for rattles and sippy cups so they don't fall on the ground. They also work for attaching stuff to high chairs (and shopping carts too). Make sure you use the Baby Centers in each park for changing diapers or as a place to blow off steam.

I had the exact situation when DS was 8 mo. We even stayed in the Dolphin! DH was at a conference all day, and we had the day to ourselves. We spent a lot of time in the world showcase, I had so much fun, DH is not a shopper, so I saw stores we never had "time" to do before. EPCOT & MGM are so easy because you can take the boat, and DD won't have to get out of the stroller. Which means you don't have to figure out how fold/unfold a stoller WHILE holding a wiggling infant. It's really easy taking a non-walker to Disney. I also recommend the pool, if it's warm. DS loved splashing from his float.

I did this too! I love it when my DH has a convention by WDW!!

I found it easy to bring an umbella stroller and a daiper bag that fit diagonally on my body and used a wristlet for my wallet which I tucked in the diaper bag, so I could manage everything easily while holding my son onto the WDW buses. An umbrella stroller worked easily because you have to collapse your stroller to get on the bus.
As the previous posters mentioned, the baby care centers are very nice and have supplies if you should forget something.
My DS loved the Fantasyland area at MK. With the gardens, the kids, the music, it was sensory overload, so he took very long naps back at the resort.
In the stroller parking areas at the MK, people leave the diaper bags on the stoller while they go on the rides (I of course took my wristlet out of it) so it is easy to do that by yourself.
I loved seeing his expressions and seeing the world through his eyes. I think you'll have a great time!
