need touring plans for Typhoon Lagoon & BB

so we shouldn't have any problems in Sept at the waterparks even though they are expecting more than normal people? Could you send me your touring plan?

Do you have any touring plans for the other parks? Was you referring to the parks or just the waterparks being empty last week?

In the months I've spent at this and other forums, I've noticed two things:

The vast majority of people say get there early.
And
The vast majority of people say they leave after 1/2 day.

I would suggest going when the vast majority is not there. Worked for us. Waited <5-15 min for CnG (4 rides), 10 or so for shark reef, and less than 1 min for any other slide.

Cheers.

We don't go to BB very much and when we do, we don't go on the bigger rides, but we do go to TL all the time and have an idea of a decent plan, if you want to hit everything.

Start at the locker area and proceed to the right (most people tend to go to the left). Hit Crush n Gusher 1st (there are 3 different slides, so you may only want to one at 1st. Then go to the area where you have the Humunga Kowabunga and the stormslides and do everything in that area. If you want to swim with the sharks, return to that later. Then keep proceeding to your right ( you will know you are correct, if you go through a cave and can see the lazy river) you will be heading to the area with the Mayday and Keelhaul Slides... line up and do them. Once finished, get a soda from the nearby kiosk and line up for the family slide (forgot the name, but it is to the right of the other 2)... this line is usually VERY long for a VERY short ride... so unless you REALLY want to go, you aren't missing much (don't miss the family slide at BB, though!). After this, if you have kiddies, go to the Ketchakiddie creek and let them play... must be 48 inches or less to enjoy this experience. (If your family is into those Dippin' Dots *called Artic Dots at TL*, they are located right across from the Ketchakiddie Creek Area.) As you continue around the wave pool you will come across some other kids slides at the edge of the wave pool... stop and let them have at 'em! Grab a bite at Leaning Palms, then enjoy sitting by the wave pool. If you want a libation, the bar is over to the far right of the wave pool (as you are looking at it), and they have some wonderful frozen drinks, both with and without alcohol. AFter you have digested, hit the wave pool and ride some waves. Be careful... the bottom is quite rough and from experience, I know the abrasions can be quite painful, so stay out a-ways so you don't rough up your knees and elbows. Now it is time to ride the lazy river. One of the entrances is right near the bar. If you want to swim with the sharks, this is excellent transportation. Just disembark by Typhoon Tilly's. After you swim with the sharks, head past Typhoon Tillys back toward Crush n Gusher and catch those other 2 slides. If time permits, relax by the wave pool with another libation until it is time to call it a day!

Have a great time..... Kowabunga, Dude!!!!

Late afternoon showers usually hit between 3:30 and 7 pm lately.
