ahhh! Ok so today is my one year mark . I emailed Bill on Friday and here I am and I haven't heard anything back. It's frustrating bc this isn't like him. He usually emails me back the same day. I also called this morning and left a voicemail and nothing either. I know I don't have much patience but I've been looking forward to this and I just don't want a convention to come along and take my spot. Not sure how to proceed. I guess just patience bc I don't want to annoy him either. So that's my rant. Just needed to get it out. thnx.

I totally understand. We couldn't reach our consultant either on our appointed day and I was really antsy. We finally called her assistant and impressed on him how much we wanted to speak with her, and he right away arranged a time for her to call us back a little bit later. That call came in right on time.

So maybe try talking to his assistant and let that person know you're ready to go and want to talk to Bill ASAP?

I am sorry! I know how you feel, I was a mess on our year mark since we had to go into lottery.

Our consultant let me know she'd be in meetings and doing the lottery so I just had to sit tight and wait for her to contact us. She not only e-mailed but called the two of us once we won our date/venues, but it was a day after the lottery since that's the way things work.

Sending tons of pixie dust your way!!! I am sure that if a convention had wanted your same venues Bill would have said something to you. Our consultant let me know of a conflict right away so I could be prepared just in case, so don't worry, it will be just fine!

I'm not sure if this is true for all of them, but I thought only the planners have assistants, not the sales coordinators. I know my sales coordinator did not have an assistant, and they are the ones who draw up the contracts. So in her case she is only in contact with her sales person, not the actual planner, so there would be no assistant yet that she could reach.

I have been receiving the same message. Bill is also my consultant and I have been waiting on my contract since September. he does have an assistant. His assistant is John Golden and his number is 407-566-6535. Hopefully we will here from them soon.

I heard back from my consultant 3 days after my 8 month mark to let me know we got our choice. Didn't get the LOA until a week after that.

Wow! We booked on the 21st and had our LOA within one week. That's really weird. Bill is also my consultant, and he has been great about getting back to me. I wonder if there is something wrong with Disney's network or something since all the emails keep getting bounced back to you.

Well I didn't have to go into a lottery but it's still possible for a convention to come along and take my reception venue because it's in a convention center.

I know that's why I'm surprised. He's always been really good about getting back to me. He usually emails me back within a few hours. Now it's a few days.

Thank you. I'm so excited for next year. I'm thinking after the year mark time will start to fly. I tried to call DFTW and a lady picked up and told me that I needed to contact Bill's assistant. She gave me his email. So I emailed him. I'm hoping to hear back tomorrow. I hate to say this but if I don't hear back by tomorrow afternoon I'm calling back and I'll have a Bridezilla moment.

Yeah, as others have said, a lot of the coordinators *do* have assistants (mine does, as I said -- we don't have our planner yet). Hopefully emailing Bill's assistant will bring some results for the OP!
