I'm so ticked right now!! I bought a multigear DB100 portable VCP on sale at walmart.com....well..first of all the write up said it was compatible with all game systems..which it is NOT...then, the screen on it doesn't work right...it has very bad tracking marks!! The ONLY CUSTOMER SERVICE IS AN EMAIL ADDRESS...no phone number..no webpage...just an email addy....so I email and now I have to ship the unit to CA..on MY money!! So I email her back asking her to assure me that I would have the unit back by the time I leave for vacation (after all, that's why i bought it and we leave in 45 days!!)...I have gotten NO RESPONSE!!!! I'm just fuming mad and want to let all you fellow budgeteers know that the MULTIGEAR IS NOT WORTH THE DISCOUNT PRICE!!! I am not so much upset that the unit malfunctioned as I am that there is no customer service to take care of my problem!! Thanks for letting me vent and please think twice before buying a product from this company!

I would take it back to wal mart and get a refund. They are VERY good about returns. If you do not have the reciept, you may have to exchange....but I would rather do that than take a chance on the company you mentioned....it sounds flaky to me!

the problem is i got it at walmart.COM and mailing back the entire unit would cost me a ton of $$ versus mailing just the lcd screen to the company. and I am nervous about mailing this unit to them!

A lot of B&M stores will let you return something in person that you purchased off the internet. It wouldn't hurt to take your receipt and try.

At Christmas time, I returned stuff I got at Walmart.com to the store. I would try that first.

Thanks guys! I'm going to call them this afternoon! The only thing i was worried about is that they don't sell these in the store so I assumed they wouldn't take it back....I'll let you know what happens..thanks for the advice!!

I ordered a digital camera from WalMart.com a couple of months ago and specifically asked ahead of time about the return policy and the option of returning it to the store. They told me via email that I could return an item to the store if it was carried at the store. Some items are only carried online and can't be returned to the store. I attempted to return the camera to the store, but they didn't carry it. Instead, I used the postage-paid return mailing label that was sent along with the camera. I took it to the post office and while I was a little nervous about sending it because I couldn't add insurance, it arrived just fine, and they credited my account. The only money that I was out was the original shipping of the camera to me. Quite reasonable to me!

Did you get a postage paid return label with the order? I also made sure I kept the original box and packing materials until I was sure I was going to keep the camera, so I just used that to send it back. I seem to remember something on Walmart.com about "never having to pay for returns". Good luck!

I emailed walmart.com and they said to send it back to them for a full refund plus they would credit my account the cost of shipping it back even though I don't have the original box it came in (hubby is anal about these things lying around!). The responded to my email in a matter of hours. NOW THAT IS THE COSTUMER SERVICE I WAS LOOKING FOR!! I'm so disappointed with multigear and will never buy anything from them again....what kind of company has no way to contact them except an email and then doesn't even respond to their costumer's emails??!!! People be warned!! From now on I'll pay the little extra for a familiar name!! Thanks to everyone on this thread for your advice! I should have known that walmart would be so accomodating!
