Megan got up a little bit ago......

She had a happy dream about her Daddy!!!! :goodvibes
She said it was current time, they were at my mom's house, no power, it was winter time and they were playing Legos on the floor!!!!!!!!!!!!!! it was something they did all the time!!!

I am so happy she has finally had a dream about Jim and that it was happy!
Our counselors told us we might have nightmare's first, so this a a great relief to me!

this might be a little weird, but for the past week every time I have been out I have found a dime on the ground....we have always done the "pennies from heaven" thing since Jim died and have found a bunch, but this past week its been dimes....so I guess he has really been thinking of us and came to play with his girl :love::love:

I'm with BAMB - it totally gave me the chills. I think of both you and Megan often and am glad you've found the place where happy memories remain. What a great dream for her to have. Hoping for many more happy dreams for both of you.

My grandmother loved cardinals and told us she was going to come back as one to watch over all of us. You know, it's funny. I don't ever remember seeing cardinals before she passed. I probably was just too busy to notice them, but now I see them all the time. There's one that lives in the shrub right outside my kitchen window and I see it all the time. It's even gotten that my kids notice and yell "There's Grandma Kate" or "Good morning, Gram Kate". I guess she really meant it.

Danielle, that is so sweet!

I hope the happy dreams will keep coming for her and hopefully one day I will get my dreams too!

Don't force and hope for the dreams Lisa. They will come when you least expect it or when you most need it. When you try to force it and say I need this, it won't happen.

Also children are more receptive to visions, dreams, and apparitions.

I dream about my grandfather a lot, but it's during extreme times of stress or peace.

Oh boy, gonna cry......

He was a great man, my guardian angel.

That's awesome Lisa!! Buffy is right...kids are able to "see" things more and "feel" them more. He is always with you too...you just have to find those signs. When my SIL died, Logan was 1. He didn't get to spend the time with her that the older two did. He never really knew her. Anyway, she had auburn wavy hair and her name was Jessica but we all called her Jessie. When Logan was about 2 or 3, he would sit in his room playing and talking away. At first I figured...a kid thing. Then I caught some of his conversations...he acted as though someone was interacting with him. I asked him who he was talking to. He said his friend Jessie. I was slightly taken back, but asked if he could see her and he said yes. I asked him what she looked like and he described her pretty accurately. Whether it was coincidence or whatever, I was happy thinking that she came to play with him after she was gone because she didn't get to long enough while she was here. So, even though I never thought I saw her or heard her, what a comfort it was to think she was with Logan.

Lisa she must be so happy this morning :)

Remember your dream will come when the time is right

Erin, that gave me goosebumps, what a sweet thing to happen to Logan!

I know my dreams will come when I'm ready....but so thrilled Jim is visiting Megan in her dreams....she tells me some nights she feels him at the end of the bed when she's falling asleep!

Saw her school counselor today when I was leaving and told her, she said its a great step for Megan!

You know Lisa, for a good while after Roger died, my gs did not talk about him much, then things happened that he had done with grandpa previously, and the memories came back. Sadly he lost both grandpas wihin 1 1/2 years, and coming from a single parent home, that was devastating!

Dealing with middle schoolers on a daily basis, they often hide their feelings about things and people. I am often amazed at how serious their life problems are. It is obvious that something is wrong, but that something is not talked about. They are quick to share with friends (thank heavens) - which Megan may have done too.

I am thrilled for both of you - healing is definitely in place.

when I was talking to her counselor, we started talking about middle school a bit...she is good friends with the middle school counselor and she asked if it was okay if she talked to her about Megan so the new counselor would already know about Megan for when they get the middle school tours in April...I thought it would be a good idea!

Megan does talk when she feels like it, I don't push her and she will eventually share with me .... I never ask her about her counseling sessions, but she did let me read her journal the other day, so we do have good, open communication and I will work hard to keep it that way!

Lisa, funny, I found a dime on the ground when I was pumping gas into my van yesterday. I thought it was unusual to find a dime, usually it is pennies.

I personally believe our love ones come to us as symbol of some sort to let us know they are always with us. :)

I guess Jim is spreading the wealth Lisa!!!

I believe in that too....when I got my new car last summer, I was having a hard time "justifying" buying it....when I got my new license plate the last for digits atre 1 - 4 - 9 - 7.....we got married 10 - 4 - 97...I took it as a sign from Jim that it was okay I bought the new car!

The same thing happened to my goddaughter. My Hometown BFF and I had a friend who was only 30 and dying of testicular cancer. He know "W" was having the baby soon and knew the day she was born but she was sent immediately to NICU because she swallowed meconium. The day she was released and went home, Steve's wife told him she was fine and he passed a few hours later. We decided he held her place on Earth for her.

When "K" was just a baby she would gurgle at that corner of the wall and the ceiling, and laugh. OMG, the greatest belly laugh. As she got older she would talk to the corner as well. We firmly believe it was Steve checking on his little angel.
