Need to Share.....Happy Dream!

how sweet Buffy....sorry for your BFF...

it reminds me of my cousin little girl who died years ago, my cousin and her family were in a terrible car accident...5 of the 9 were burned...the worse were the 5 yr old twins, my cousin's little girls...my cousin, her DH and DstepS were the ones burned and in the burn center here in Seattle....
Amber was the worst and died 3 weeks after the accident, they hadn't told Abby yet, but asked me to sit with her while they were taking care of Amber with the drs, when I walked into Abby's room, she was looking in the corner...turned and looked at me and said " Amber died Lisa, she told me to get better and give mommy and daddy a hug" she knew nothing of how sick Amber had been, but she knew exactly when Amber died, for the longest time she would also talk to the corner....Abby is now 27, married and a mama to two sweet little boys...she never let her scars hold her back!

I know there are angels among us all!

Buffy - what a comforting story. Some people find that unbelievable or eerie. I definitely don't...I just think it is great feeling our loved ones' presence.

Lisa - I am so glad you posted this. It made me happy for you and Megan as well as making me take a time out and think about my SIL and others. You really need that sometimes! I hope Megan continues to have these sweet dreams!

That is great that both of you are feeling comfort.

I have my own interesting story...my grandmother's Mom was the most wonderful woman! She died of cancer when I was 2. Everyone called her Mom and to this day that term is generally reserved for her. DS calls me Momma. One night my DS had a really high fever when he was 2 or 3. I had given him meds. but nothing was working. He finally fell asleep, so I laid him down in his crib. He stirred a little, and then cried about 2 hours later. He kept saying, "Mom" and pointing to the celiling. I felt him and he was as cool as a cucumber. He then told me that Mom gave him bites in his mouth and he felt better. It was a very humbling experience. I fully believe she was looking over my little man. :goodvibes

Wow! That is great!!!

I honestly believe that there are signs all around us but sometimes we get too busy to see them...

My kids and I still can smell Pappy's aftershave in the house.. Catch is.. he never came up to my house as he was not much for traveling since Granny had passed...but he would call and check in on his "Babes"... My DS10 didn't remember much of him.. he was only 2 when he passed.. It amazed me because he kept asking me what that smell was.. DS14 came in (much younger at the time) said that was Pappy's aftershave.. He remembered it... Says that it comes thru the house often...

Granny comes to me often (my mom's mom).. but it's usually when I ask her for advice.. I can feel her move my hair and remind me with a little squeeze that its okay.. all Moms have bad days and need reminding that what we do is out of love and necessity of raising good kids...

My most important visit has happened 3 times... My Great- Grandpa Alan visits me when I was pregnant with my kids.. usually just before ultrasounds because I stress myself out making sure everything is okay... Grandpa A always walks over the hill next to a tree and tells me things will be fine.. that my babies are perfect and healthy... Well, one day I was having a panic attack on the drive home (don't like big financial decisions).. well I stopped at the 4-way stop out in the country going to our rental home... took a deep breath.. looked up the road and low-and behold there was the hill with that exact tree and a man waving at me... I asked Mike if he saw the man.. He did not... Next day we got our loan approval for our home and everything was fine.. panic attacks stopped...

your stories are giving me goosebumbs....its so wonderful that so many of us are getting visits! Thank you everyone for sharing your stories, angels are among us daily!

Megan shared a bit more of her dream, or she remembered more of it....

I was also in it, we walked into a car shop and Jim was there wearing a blue jumpsuit (he had on that he wore when he worked on our cars), we went for a walk and were coming up to our condo here, but then ended up in my mom's house, Megan said it was very warm and sunny outside, but inside the house was cold, dark and a little weird....mom and I were in the bedroom talking and she and Jim were playing Legos on the floor...she said he looked great and happy, but never said anything to her, just lots of smiles!

When Jim was missing, my dad came to me many times, today has been 8 years since he died!
he was holding an open umbrella in some rubble.....to me it meant that he had found Jim and was watching over him and I feel that he and Jim's mom guided the recovery teams to Jim....Jim was recovered on Feb 10!

Lisa, I would say that was a definite sign that your Dad helped them find Jim!!!! No doubt in my mind!
