Need to rent points for January 2007

Hi

Could you please give me some info on renting points. We will be visiting in early January 2007 and are looking into renting points for a 4 night stay. How do we find out how many points we would need for our proposed stay. At the moment we're thinking 4 nights at the Boardwalk or BCV. Would consider others though.

Tried this on the US board but they suggested trying here.

Any advice /infromation gratefully received

How many of you are going? There are studios, one beds and two beds (and maybe a grand villa) sleeping 4,4,8 or 12 respectively. The bigger the room the more points it takes.

Mikki - there are two adults and two children. I think we'll probably go for a studio.

For BWV or BCV studio you are talking 12 points a night Sun - Thurs and 22 points a night for a Friday or Saturday night next January.

One point that may be worth considering - both those studios have one bed and one sofa bed. If you chose OKW it would be two beds in a studio and points are slightly less at 8 / 20.

Not sure if that calculator is correct - for Feb 11th-15th 2007 it calculated at 30 points per night for BWV 2 bed but, according to the DVC points chart, it is 34 points per night
