So we have decided to try the Teva sandals.
I've looked in the area and the only stores that carry them have VERY limited styles....mostly just the flip flops right now.
So DD and I looked at all the styles on the web site and picked out what we want...
Now....I need to know if anyone has a discount code I can use?

There is a spot to put in a promotion code, etc. But I don't have one.
If anyone can share this info.....it would be greatly appreciated!!

If you can't post it....then please PM or email me.
Thanks!!!

I don't have a Teva code. However, Amazon has a ton of Tevas on their site and they offer free shipping. You might want to take a look to see if they have the style you want :)

You might try http://www.sierratradingpost.com. I went there on the advice of my MIL a couple weeks ago when I was thinking of buying Teva's. I found the base Teva's for $25 + $4.50 in shipping which was still $10 less than anyplace I looked in town. However, I ended up getting some Kamik sandals from Sierra Trading Post for the same price that looked much more sturdy and high end -- I'm very happy with them. The only problem with Sierra Trading Post is that colors and sizes are limited.

www.shoes.com offers free shipping and free return shipping. The shoes aren't discounted but the prices are on par with the other sites I checked. Because of the free return shipping, this turned out to be cheaper for me. Plus, I was able to purchase a few different pairs/styles that I wanted to try, then, for free, returned the ones I did not want. Just need to attach the return lable and drop at the Post Office.

I've had good luck with SierraTradingPost and REI.com (their clearance section).

I've also had good luck with the clearance section of REI.com. I was able to get the Teva Terra Fi's (might be wrong spelling?) for just a little over $40.00 (these are regularly $75.00 sandals). I love them, and am happy to say I found this information right on The DIS! Isn't The DIS great!!!
Good Luck, and enjoy your new shoes!

I got the same pair from REI. They are really great shoes. I ordered my mom a pair of Cross Terras that are about $10.00 cheaper and they aren't as comfy as the Terra FI's.

I have a pair of women's Teva Spoiler III's. I bought them from onlineshoes.com about a month ago. At the time, they were offering the best price anywhere. I paid $59.95 total. Free shipping.

I have to say they are the most comfortable shoes I own. They were well worth the money to me.

Just an FYI...not all Teva's are the same. Some are more comfortable and more of a walking sandal then others.

I suggest trying them on and seeing them in a store first, if possible or just researching which are the best for lots of walking.

I bought Teva's Pretty Rugged leather on sale at Sports Authority last summer and then just bought the Teva's Pretty Rugged nylon on sale at REI outlet for $42.93 free shipping since I picked them up. They are regularly $75. They are still offering them at $42.93in many sizes.

When I'm looking for the best price on shoes, I just do a search at http://www.google.com/froogle and then sort by cheapest to most expensive and that is how I found that REI had them on sale.

Good luck!

Or you can try Ebay. I won a brand new pair of Teva slides for $4.26 yesterday. I also bought a pair last year for about $15.

If you haven't already bought them, go to the Teva website and look at the different styles. Some are designed for much more walking/hiking than others.

I had a pair once (before I knew to do my research!) that had NO heel cushion- I might as well have been walking right on the pavement. The ones I have now are great- bought them at Sierra Trading Post. I also picked up a pair of Teva flip flops from there once that are really comfortable too!

Thanks for all the tips!!
I really need a cushion on the sole and I have looked at a lot of different sandals.
BTW...I have tried Clarks shoes and they just don't have the cushion I need....and I know some people swear by them.

So I really looked at the Teva's on line and picked out 2 styles I really want to try. They look like there is a good cushion and they don't look like a "hiking" shoe. Plus the leather is water proof which ......I have found out in the last couple June visits...... is absolutely neccessary!
All the Teva's I seem to find on the other web sites are like the Hurricanes which don't have that cushioned sole.
The Teva web site offers free shipping, but there is a spot to put in a discount code.....I just wish I had one.

BTW.....I wear Merrill's at work and they are great. They do have a good cushion sole, but also have the support I need.
Thanks.

You are absolutely right about this- IMO, the Hurricanes are their low end mass-market sandal.

There are some styles sold through LL Bean, not sure of the price difference though- if you go through Ebates to get them, at least you would get a discount.

There used to be a TEVA outlet out west somewhere- I was on a wild goose chase trying to find my favorite Teva's once that were discontinued- they gave me the # of the outlet (sorry, forget where it was, this was maybe 10 years ago). Might be worth calling them to get the phone number- if you don't care if you have last year's model (or discontinued pattern, etc), that might be another route to get the style you want at a lower price.

I am a big Teva fan (obviously!). I buy them directly from their website and am happy to pay full price because one pair will last me 2-3 summers. They also used to sell a wash to get the stink out of the rubber ones.

Teva Hurricane's are not the best Teva walking sandal. They are stiff and don't have much cushioning and no shock absorption.

You really should research which Teva's are best for lots of walking. They have specific sandals that are meant to be a walking sandal.

Not all Teva's are alike.

Well, I didn't buy them specifically for walking. I just like sandals and am always looking for another pair. So, for me, low end is ok.

I got my Hurricanes today! I was a little worried after hearing that they are the low-end model but I'm very happy with them! Can't beat them for $15 shipped!
