Hello All

Just called to get some pricing info about a last minute trip in October for my son and I - this will be our 3rd trip and I am trying to do this on a budget (as much as Disney will allow) -

called a day or say to go re: Pop and tickets (will buy 7 or 10 day no expiration so we can use on the next trip since son will turn 9 next year)
online the 7day tickets with hotel was 981.22
called with the discount code and price is 755.22
with dining price is 951.22 with code

I am a triple AAA member do you think discount will get better or should I just book - not to sure about dining but I know that the xtra 200.00 will be easily used on meals (no car so options for dining outside the world will be limited or would you rent a car to expand food options)

I am so confused right now.....

MJ :confused3

We are DVCers now so we don't do packages, so not that familiar with them. I was just going to say the DW has been keeping an eye on car rentals lately from MCO airport for our next trip and in my opinion, unless you are familiar with driving around the WDW area, you will probably be less stressed by doing the dining plan, because the car rental will cost almost the same and then you would have to navigate around to eat. Hope this helps some?

I think you can book with a "courtesy hold". I'm not sure if that's the correct name, but they will hold your booking for 2 weeks with no money down. Then on Monday, call your AAA & see what the pricing would be through them. You can always cancel either of the bookings with no penalty. Regarding the DDP, I don't know about the savings. I've never used it before, but will be on our upcoming trip. Interested to see about the difference in money spent. You would probably be better off doing whatever would enhance your time without any hassle. It seems logical :confused3 Whatever you decide to do, have a wonderful time :thumbsup2
