Need to get to Universal from Pop

Our HS band is performing at WDW this December. We are flying down ahead of the band (extra park days!!!) and will be staying at Pop Century. The band will also be performing one day at Universal. I need to get DD to Universal to meet the rest of the band early one morning.

What's the easiest (and cheapest) way to get there? Mears or taxi? Anyone know what time Mears picks up? We need to be there pretty early!

I would take a taxi. It will get you there faster and it isn't too expensive. They will call you one at the front desk.
