Okay...I have been dreaming of the day when I could purchase my son the special graduation ears from Disneyland. The year has arrived, but I am worried about actually being able to accomplish this, because when we were there in January, a CM in the Mad Hatter told me that they arrive in April and are usually sold out within a very short period of time. We won't be there until May 18th, and I have little hope that I will be able to find them then. Does anyone know if there is another way to purchase these? Can I find them online? Is there a number I can call? Also, if I purchase them ahead of time (somehow), can I bring them to the park in May and have names added?

They are already selling the grad mouse ears. A friend bought me a pair at disneyland and sent them to me this week. :) Have you tried checking if ebay is selling any?

That has never been my experience. In previous years the grad ears have been available well into June. They have Grad Nites until then, so they always have a good supply.

Thanks you, Melissa, that is reassuring. I always like to hear guest experiences to balance CM perspectives. :goodvibes

Catira, I haven't checked eBay, but I will. I did look at the Disney online site, and no luck there. :thumbsup2

I am sure I have seen here on the DISboards that there is a phone number that you can call to order merchandise that is available in the parks, but I am not having any luck finding it. Does anyone know what I am thinking of?

Well, the ears are available on eBay, but they are $34.99. If it is likely that they will still be available in seven weeks, I think I will wait.

I am wondering, though, can anyone tell me if it is possible to bring ears purchased online, or during a different trip, into the shop and have a name added?

That's where I ordered my DD's and her BF's just the other day when they had their 25% off sale. They came to about $16 ea.

Just ordered my DD's from Disney store dot com. They are listed under "New Arrivals", $19.95. :thumbsup2

We went to Disneyland early June last year & were able to get grad ears for our daughter. We got her name on them also. I don't remember what we paid, but they seemed to have plenty in stock.

As of right now, they are in stock on disneystore.com. I don't know about getting names added later.

Disney doesn't put names on the grad ears. Here's the thread with all the info on ordering:

I wish I knew for sure if they would put names on or not; that is what will determine if I take a chance and wait to buy them in the park. :upsidedow

Thanks! :thumbsup2

Yes, you can have names put on them at DLR.

If you get the standard Mickey ears with the small grad cap the name goes on the back.

If you get the fuzzy ear mortarboard the name goes on the side (because it laces up the back)

Hello, DISers. I am looking for an update; can anyone who has been in the parks very recently tell me if the grad ears are still available? :surfweb:
