We are planning a 10 day trip for next Aug and since I am a Dis nut I already have the dinning list planned, well sort of.

DH and I finally settled on the resort (YC) and have our ressie for us and the 3 kiddos. DS 11, DD 8 and DS 5 (wow they are getting old), the kids hve had some input on where they want to eat, some old and new. We will be on the DP.

Here is my list:

1. Le Cellier (D 2 credits)
2. Cape May (B)
3. Chef Mickey (D)
4. Sci Fi (L)
5. Mama Melrsoe (Fantasmic pkg)
6. O'hana's (D)
7. Captains Grill (D)
8. ESPN or Big River Brewing (D)

Here's where it gets a little hazy.... DD just informed me she would REALLY like to do a Princess dinner. I am trying to plan more dinners in the Epcot/DHS area since on the last 3 trips travelling in the afternoons has been rushed and not fun when everyone is starting to get tired.

9. Princess meal (D but what?)

10. Hoop de do (never done this, 2 credits)

Oh and then I had a bright idea we should go to beaches and cream too....

Help!

We usually pay for 1 meal out of pocket, in the past we have just paid cash for CRT. I am trying to figure out what he best thing to either give up or pay for. We are looking at 13 credits right now... I can't even make my ADR's will Feb and I am already stressing over this.

Thanks:)

I am a firm believer that if it is on your list, there is a reason. And unless you absolutely have to get rid of one, keep them all.

With that being said, my initial idea is to just pay for Cape May and/or Sci-Fi OOP since breakfasts tend to be less expensive, followed by lunch (maybe figure out what you would all order at Sci-Fi and figure which would work out less expensive).

My second thought is that the only meal on WDW property that I can justify using the DDP on is HDDR. LC isn't worth 1 TS credit as it is, but that is just my opinion, and other signatures just don't work out with much value. To me HDDR, when broken down to 1 TS for the food and 1 TS for the show, works out.

If you are looking for a Princess meal and want to try something other than CRT, give Akershus in Norway a try. My girlfriend and I had a pretty good lunch there in May (the highlight of her trip was seeing Ariel with her "land legs"). A picture with Belle is included in the price. Ariel and her land legs, Sleeping Beauty, Jasmin and Snow White are the princesses that visit the table. The food is pretty good and the princess interaction is good. Well worth the TS credit.

I know, it so hard to figure it all out. I hate that I have to decide in Feb what I can to eat in Aug, my Dh can't even tell me right now what he might want for dinner today:)

We really enjoy Akershus in Norway, so I'd definitely recommend that for a Princess meal. You'll get a pic with Belle, and then 4 other Princesses will visit your table. That should definitely satisfy the Princess Meal requirement.

We also very much enjoyed the HDDR.
