We are going to a company outing at Canobie Lake Park on Saturday (supposed to be 90+ degrees too) -- I have never been here. We will be with a large group of family, most of whom have children old enough to ride all the rides. My kids however, are ages 5 and under and between 34" and 42" -- we are not going to be starting out in the park until probably past 1 or 2 p.m. -- what should I expect? We just had a Disney vacation in June where we almost never waited in lines due to Fast Pass and strategically timed visits to parks.... I have no idea what to expect here and if we should bring/wear swimsuits or how much my kids will be able to do. Anyone that can give me any insight would be greatly appreciated.
THANKS!

Canobie Lake is about 20 minutes from me :) But I have not been there in a while.

Check their web site out to see what kinds of things there are there ...

I recall there being a lot of kiddie rides the last time I took my neices. Lines were not too bad , but we usually go on a weekday.
I only remember one wet ride...a sort of flume coaster called the Boston Tea Party.

That is a link with height requirements for each ride there.

I think you'll have fun!

There are 3 wet rides, but I can't remember whether or not those were rides with height restrictions or not. I haven't been in about 4 years. There's also a pool, but I don't think I'd really suggest using it. It's always looked a little gross while we were there. There are lots of rides specifically for smaller kids at the park, and there are lots of rides that anyone can go on. Some have height restrictions, but not as many as you might think. At least if I remember right. There are also lots of shady places, which is good on a day that's really hot. You might want to have a swim suit with you. We usually wore them under our clothes, because we loved Tall Timber Splash, which we would ride in just our swim suits. It's a "water coaster" where you ride down in a raft. It's a fairly small park, and totally enclosed, if you're at all concerned about safety. Not sure whether it'll be busy or not, because we usually went mid week, or on a Sunday.

There are lots of great kiddie rides at the park. If u think the kids would enjoy swimming, then allow them to bring their suits...but since its supposed to be so warm the pool will be packed. There are water fountians to drink from throughout the park, but bottled water...last time I was there was 2.00. I try to stay away from the park on the weekends as it can be really busy, but if you are going to be in the kiddie area mostly u should be fine. AND if you want to get cooled off, go stand over near the BOSTON TEA PARTY. U dont need to ride it to get soaked!

Are you talking tomorrow Saturday or next Saturday?
We have a company outing there next Saturday.

We went a few years ago when our kids were 1 1/2 & 4 1/2, and I remember there were quite a few rides they could go on. They didnt always go on them all, but there were lots of options.

I just realized you said its going to be 90, so you must mean tomorrow. Bummer! Well, have fun! :D

Yup, we'll be going tomorrow... nothing like waiting til the last minute to think about this! I'm usually a planner! But I've been so busy, I've put off thinking about this and just realized it's tomorrow!

I may have to bring some misters!

They have a fleet of Little Tykes wagons available for renting at the gift shop, which is (as you enter the gate) way over at the right side of the park. Last year it was $5 for the day. It holds your stuff and the kids can ride in it when they get tired.

I'd always pack a change of clothes for everyone. You do get drenched from head to toe on the Boston Tea Party. You can walk by it periodically like Dizzy-Disney said, just to cool off.

Have fun! :D

You will probably have to wait in line a bit. Usually when there are outings it is VERY BUSY at the park. There are lots of rides for the little ones and it is a very clean and pretty park. It is very small compared to other parks but has a good representation of rides. Plenty of Restrooms etc. Have fun and drinks lot of water!
