What are the "must do" attractions?

Which ones tend to have lines?

How crowded does it get on a rainy day (late January)?

Which "rides" cause motion sickness?

OK, I haven't been yet, but we will be going in April, so I've done some research. The "must do" attractions also are the ones with long lines......the top 3 appear to be Pirate of the Caribbean, Jungle Cruise, the Pinball game (mighty ducks, I think) and the "Create your own Rollercoaster" attraction.

Rainy Days are crowded. January rainy days (hence, cold too) would probably be REALLY crowded. Recommendation is to get there right at opening. The later in the day, the more crowded it is.

Not sure about motion sickness, although I think I remember hearing the roller coaster one can be bad if you get too carried away with your design!

The Pirates of the Caribbean thing is soo funny! what a laugh we had in there firing cannons at other ships.

Also the virtual jungle cruise and our other favorite - the build your own roller coaster thing, then you ride it :D

There is also that car thing where you pick up balls and fire them at other cars.. thats fun :)

PoTC and Create your Rollercoaster seem to be the longest lines. Lines also build at the Create a CD booths and if you would like to participate in the drawing class you might want to arrive a few minutes early. I'm not sure about the arcade games. If people are "playing nice" they will usually play their game once and get up if you are waiting.
We love the DQ, have fun!

Beware of the virtual reality attractions where the player wears a headset, etc. I'm thinkng especially of the one where you sit on a motorcyle ... Aladdin, maybe ... I can't do merry go rounds anymore, don't like the teacups, and got ill doing this one ... this may be one to avoid! But there are lots of other fun things to do at Quest!

Our families must dos a few times at DQ are Pirates of the Carribean and Alien Invasion.

I love Alien Invasion. There never seems to be a line there. I think maybe it's because it is hidden in the back and not everyone knows it's there. Many times the CM has asked us if we would like to continue until someone else is waiting. Ssshhh, our secret!

Go to Disney Quest on the nicest, sunnyest day of your vacation and get there early. You will be alone in the place and be able to do everything as much as you want. And since there are no windows, you won't know what you are missing outside. It's the same inside DQ, except for the crowds, whether it's sunny or raining.
