Need Taxi Advice

We have a split stay scheduled next week-- BLT then to AKV. We have to move on 12/24 (kind of a busy day, I know). We will not have a car with us. I was going to let Bell Services move our luggage--but read a trip report from someone last week who stayed at these same resorts and 2 pieces of their luggage were lost. Never to be found again! Although they were compensated, I really don't want that hassle---plus "Santa" is going to have a few things stashed in our luggage and I don't want them lost.

Has anyone taken at taxi from resort to resort just to transfer luggage? What can I expect to pay? Is there any specific taxi company I should call?

I will probably just make the transfer myself with the luggage and leave the rest of my family in the room we are leaving. Does this sound like a crazy plan? Should I just take my chances with Bell Services???

Maybe $25? Maybe less - but don't forget the tip, for both the ride and assistance handling luggage.

There should be cabs outside your resort; if not, just ask Bell Services to get you one.
