need support dog hit and killed today

I just needed to talk. About 12pm today my beloved dog harry was hit and killed by a truck. He was a four year old yellow Lab and the most loving dog I have ever known. He would get so upset if someone in the house was crying, He love to be kissed inbetween his eyes he would lean into you if you stopped. I am going to miss him so much. I worry about my older dog Tucker he seems so sad. Well thank you all for listening to me it makes me feel better just writing it all down

I am so sorry. I know how you feel.My cat was hit and killed by a car in 2002 and I cried for a week. Then my husband got me a kitten to get through it. Very hard but you will get through it. Hugs and Kisses

I'm so sorry this happened. I watched my wonderful 7yr old get killed by a semi about 7 years ago, and I was a basketcase for weeks. I cannot tell you how much I loved that girl, and I will always feel guilty about trusting her to stay by my side. I just wish I knew then what I know now, and I can only hope that someone will learn from the mistakes of myself and others and not have to learn that lesson the hard way.

My sympathies. I can imagine how you must feel about losing a loving dog. My year-old black lab (well, lab mix) is a very loving dog, too. I'd be heartbroken if something happened to him.

Im so sorry!!!!

We lost our own dog to a car about 9 years ago. We lived up in the Hollywood Hills down a very long private driveway. We had to pull the garbage cans up and down the driveway and it was easiest to attach them to the back of the car. Well my ex was bringing them DOWN the driveway and one came unhooked so he stopped and went out to fix it. Our dog ran out to see him and for some reason she laid down right in front of the car

He got back into the car and our 6 year sat on his lap for the last 20 feet down the driveway.. (I never liked it when he did that but he never listened!) and rolled slowly forward and ran right over her. It as the worst thing that ever happened. Sarah cried for days that SHE killed the dog....

We buried her and the girls put roses in her grave. It still makes me so sad.
