If it's any consolation, my parent's Lhasa Apsa had to be put down a few weeks ago for old age. They had her ever since I was 10. My father Cried for a day or so (I've only seen him cry twice before, once at his mom's [my grandma's] funeral & once at my grandfather's funeral). Just found out today they might lose their collie / golden retriever mix b/c of heart worms... It's a bad day for pets
