Need suggestions for small gift

We are inviting a few people over for dinner next week. Two are married. Since it's close to Christmas, I wanted to leave a small (very small) gift bag for them next to their place at the table. Any suggestions. Just a reminder: very small.

AC Moore had a very cute peppermint striped candle (with a peppermint swirl) in a votive holder for $1 yesterday. You could get those, some red or white tulle and wrap them up... with a different color ribbon..

It would look like a million bucks!

Get to know your local Dollar Store--it's inventory certainly comes in handy this time of year. You can't believe some of the nice items they stock for a buck.
