Need suggestions for New Years at DW

I am starting to plan a trip with my friend and her family and my niece and her friend (during their Sr. year of hs). We would be there a couple days before and after New Years staying at SSR. Any suggestions about a "gotta see" or "gotta do" while there an on New Year's Eve?

Everybody has a different opinion as to which park is best on NYE. The only piece of advice that nearly everyone will agree on is to get to your designated park early, as parks fill to capacity early in the day. Plan well, and expect a long day at the park.

I fully aggree w/the last post. You need to be there early !! We spent this past New Years Eve (2006) at EPCOT and the only pavement you could see was maybe what was under your feet. We heard talk at the park that Magic Kingdom had about 84,000 people. So, get there early and plan to stay. Don't expect to ride too many rides. At about noon the fast passes for Test Track were around midnight or later. Have fun though, the park to empty out as the week progresses !!
