to take as treats for DD11s bday tom. Not big into cupcakes.......just want something out of the ordinary. Cant wait for your suggestions.

Are you allowed to make homemade treats, or does it have to be commercially prepared? Also, are you thinking of sending something other than food?

DS is 9 but kids in his class like Cookie Cakes. Our cookie store in the mall makes really big cookies and decorate it similar to a cake. I don't know if they cut it or just break off pieces though.

That is what I sent on my son's birthday, the class loved it. I bought it at the grocery store bakery (Sweetbay) which costs a little less than getting it at the mall.

I was going to suggest this!!! At our home parties we always have a cake and one of these cookies - the kids really prefer the cookie!!!!!:)

Rice crispy treats are always popular with kids, and you can throw in mini M&Ms or something.

How about donuts? The big thing around here is Dunkin Donuts shaped into the child's age - i.e. 8 for an 8yo. The child gets to pick the icing and sprinkles. Regular donuts would be fun too.
