Alright, so... my Drama teacher gave us this assignment that we had to either sing, dance, lip-synch or preform a skit from something that has been on Broadway. im sick so there's no way i couldve sung something, but a friend and i decided to lip-synch to Defying Gravity from Wicked.
Now although i love the play, i've never actually SEEN it. things have been messing up in that class, and i really need this grade to be good. he's grading mostly on how convincing we are. how in character we stay. im lip-synching the part of Glinda, so it's not like i have a ton of things to say, but i find myself kind of...standing there most of the time, watching my Elphie prance around the stage singing.
i know some of you have seen and like the show more than i do, so i thought "what better place could i go to for advice than these guys?" i have to preform tomorrow (well maybe...we have a big class) and although i can do great.."faces" i feel out of it. any advice would be much loved and appreciated!

) but since you can't, make the best of Defying Gravity. Beautiful song, and lots of great acting that can be brought out of it. Good luck!
